Managing Your Google AdWords Account

When starting your Google AdWords Campaign, it is important to understand all aspects of the website including the main tabs and menu buttons.  After signing into the account, you should have access to all important information. Listed below are a few examples.

Home Page: This page gives a summary of important account information for your ads. There is a graph that monitors your ads' performance.

Campaigns Tab: This tab is where you can change the setting for your ads and an overview of how they are all progressing. Each campaign will show statistics and other important information. This is also where you can change 'keywords,' customize your statistics, and shows your clicks, impressions, ad position, and click through rate.

Opportunities Tab: This section of the website helps you to understand and grow your campaign to make it better. Because key words are so important for campaigns, there is a section that describes what keywords should be used, what negative key words are, and what phrases should be used.

Tools Tab: This tabs helps you monitor and change your account where you can change your history, check on conversion tracking, check your return on investments (ROI), and future keywords/ad planner.

The Gear Menu: This is a little symbol that looks like a gear and this is where you can look at all billing information/summary and account settings

Something that I believe is very important for every Google Adwords user to understand it to understand alerts and notifications.
